Busy week...

Emma actually smiling for the camera! For those who don't know her, you know that is almost a miracle.

I braved a trip home to Michigan for Easter. Interestingly enough, it snowed the whole weekend. This global warming trend is so annoying!!! ;-) But it was really nice to get home and see the family again.

It was especially nice to see my brother and sister in law and their little girl Emma. We had a really short Christmas this year and half of us were very sick, Emma being the sickest of all. So I was really looking forward to seeing my little Emma Em not sick and wouldn't you know it? She was sick again. Can you say GRUMPY! :-)

In fact here is little miss Em yelling about getting the camera pointed at her!

So this has been a busy couple of weeks since I last posted anything. Went to IHC for a couple of days. Took my camera one day, but forgot my SD card. Some thing never change! It wasn't too disappointing though, since I barely saw anyone I know!

Timmy came to visit!

Timmy Veyon, our friend from college, came to visit tonight. We went to Abuelo's for dinner. We ate so many chips and salsa, that I couldn't really do justice to my meal. Ugh, so full.

The Best Job In The World!

Kaelah is 5 years old now! She's my baby girl!

I am such a mean nanny! I even make the DOG stand in the corner.

Luke--10, Seth--8, Kaelah--5

My tempermental Sethy pie!

One of their rare getting along moments!

Kaelah looking adorable.

Tired boys after a long day of shopping.

Kaelah and Ally

Some more tired kids....

Ryan and fam...

The latest news is that my brother Ryan has gotten married. Her name is Mary and as you can tell, Ryan is absolutely thrilled. :-) They have set up house in West Chester, Ohio, so Teresa and I have lost our fellow roomie.

Lissa and Nick--Parents to be

In about 3 weeks time, I should be the proud new aunt of another baby girl. Lissa is due May 1st. We are all taking bets as to whether or not she will last that long. She bravely spent a week with me in Ohio last week. It was so nice to have her down. We had a lot of fun.

Jeremy and family...

Jeremy has been married for a few years and he and his wife Melissa have a 2 year old named Emma Noelle. Unfortunately, our little Emma Em is incredibly uncooperative when it comes to getting her picture taken.

The family news for those that care....

For those who didn't know, Melissa, (my youngest sister) married Nick Sams June 8th, 2006.

Celebrating Teresa's birthday

Finally she is as old as I am. It is a long month of teasing let me tell you! You'd think I was about a 100 years older instead of a mere month!

Best Buds

As some may or may not know, Teresa and I have been roomies for over two years now. I have been a nanny for the last 6 and half years, and Teresa got a job two years ago right across the road from my job. So needless to say "our" kids have become great friends, since we spend a lot of time together. Kaelah and Ally are "Best Buds" and Teresa and I get a kick out of watching such young girls start building a beautiful friendship. You'd think that Teresa and I might get annoyed with each other spending as much time together as we do, but somehow it seems to be just dandy. :-) In September, we are going to have to say goodbye to our kiddies, they won't need us anymore because they will be in school full time. I will be losing my roomate as well, because she is planning on moving to Idaho. Trust me, no one will want to be around me in September. I am not looking forward to it, I never have liked goodbyes. We just hope that Kaelah and Ally's friendship will last through the years like ours has and will.

Friends

Teresa, Erin and I out to dinner. In Teresa's opinion, we do this way too often, but in my 'never to be humble' opinion, not often enough! :-)
