I went to Detroit with a couple of friends of mine for the weekend. I grew up in Michigan, but have never been in downtown Detroit before. What a sad, messed up city. Extremely run down and in many places just totally abandoned. One of the only cities I have ever been in where there are abandoned skyscapers in the skyline. Very sad and messed up. Anyways, besides that, we had a good time. Liza is from Puerto Rico, and she is loads of fun. Carissa is from Detroit and we play volleyball together and hang out all the time. We all have a good time together.

We laughed at Liza because she was so cold. As we were walking to our car, we couldn't find it for a minute, but when we did she squealed and ran to it as fast as she could! She was not prepared for a cold Michigan night!

Sad about Detroit--last time I was there was several years ago when I went to watch the Tigers play. We didn't sight-see (you know my dad). We went straight to the ballpark and got out afterward.

yeah, speculation my the police says that one of the reasons detriot is a hell hole is because of the casinos coming in. makes sense if you ask me.
HMMM! And these are the people that keep swaying Michigans political views! GRRR! Some of us arent' like that!
