Memorial Day Weekend....

Every year, my family goes to Shipshewana, to the Haiti Benefit Auction. It is a great little Amish Community. The Auction has lots of great stuff and incredible food. Its a lot of fun. This year, with the exception of Nick (who is in bootcamp) and Shadley, our whole family was there. I took a lot of pics over the weekend, but have not had the chance to download them as of yet. But, I wanted to share this pic for now. Its Ryan and Mary's girls and Jade. Emma wanted NOTHING to do with the whole thing, much to her mothers dismay. :-)

Kaelah's big dance night!

I have been taking Kaelah to dance class since she was three years old. When we first started, Teresea was taking her little girl that she nannied as well. I don't know if Teresa and I have ever laughed so hard in our lives. We were hooked from the beginning.

Now, 3 years later, it is amazing at how accomplished she is. She LOVES to perform. She is the youngest girl in her class and pretty much the smallest (by far) as well, but she is a go getter.

Look at that face! I love that girl! :-)

Some of her acro moves....

twirling the tap dress....

My beautiful little girl....most of us would die for those eyelashes

The ballet outfit was my favorite of course....Just had to share for those of you who know her. The recital was a lot of fun and she did a wonderful job.

Happy first birthday, Jade!

The beginning.....

The middle.....

The End.....

Jade turned one Saturday, May 10th. She was a bit befuddled about unwrapping things,b ut she really enjoyed what was inside! :-) Here she is playing with the new toy that her cousin Emma got her. As you can see, all three of my nieces were enjoying it quite a bit.

Hmmm....what do I do with this thing?

Jade LOVES cell phones. She called her uncle Ryan the other morning without her mom knowing it. Pretty funny.

ooooooo........What is that?

Yummy Cake.....

Random pics from the weekend...

All of us girls helping Jade celebrate the Big #1--Liss, Erin, Lynette, Jade, Me, Mary and Maria
I think that Jade thought we were doing the wave.....

Me and my Emma Em!

Jada!

Maria--7 months

My big Bro and I--and yes we do look alike!

Emma's First Dance Recital....

Aunt Holly and Aunt Lissa making over our sweet Emma. Emma is just like both her parents and doesn't really have a shy bone in her body. After all, she already had the guts to ask a piano player at a really nice restaurant to, "please play the 'ABC song'" So we were all kind of surprised when she started crying on her first dance. But after a treat (with lots of sugar) she was pretty bouncy for her second dance. :-)

I think that Emma's favorite person in the world is "my cousin, Jada!" Here she is with one of her friends playing with Jade.

The proud Mommy and Daddy. I should mention that Em is like her daddy in that she HATES to have her pics taken. Which really frustrates this aunt!

Ballerina girl....

She wouldn't move two inches from her instructor

You can kind of tell that she is crying here.

I went to the back and tried to get her excited for her tap dance, and actually got her to pose a little bit for me...

And here she is blowing a kiss.... All in all it was a fun night and our little Emma Em was a hit.
