Casey and Maria....

I went to visit the baby yesterday and Casey was home. She had a great time showing off--wanting to make sure that I paid more attention to her than her new little sister. :-) She begged to go to my house to see Callie, she doesn't quite understand that Callie does not live anywhere near anymore. So I took her to Chick Fil A trying to get her mind off of going to my house, but it didn't work. On the way back I asked her what her new baby sister's name was and she said "Woxy!" I thought I misunderstood her and I said, "Maria?" And she answered, "NO! Woxy!!" So I guess that even though her parents have named her sister Maria, Casey has named her Roxy! :-)

Maria is a great sleeper so far. I guess her mom has to wake her up to feed her. Not bad!!!!

Football and cheer....

Ryan plays football and Ally cheers for his team. Its interesting to see kids that young, being indoctrinated in a sport. I love sports but I was really turned off by some of the overblown sense of importance to these sports at such a young age. I am all for a sport being taught correctly and all of that, but I hated the yelling at the refs for a game being played between 7 and 8 year olds. CRAZY!

Kaelah went with me to watch Ryan and Ally do their thing. We had an ok time when we weren't saving ourselves from some really aggressive bees and trying not to pass out from the extremely hot day. :-)

Some more pics of the new baby....

The baby was born at 11:50 yesterday morning, and I arrived at the hospital at 2:00. The poor baby was not a happy camper. She cried or fussed almost the entire time, until she found her thumb. She wasn't real thrilled with being forced out into the big cold world.

But, Erin and I went back last night and she was a much more content baby. In fact she slept the entire time.

Here are the proud new parents. Mary was not real thrilled with getting her picture taken, but I think she looks just fine. :-)

Finally right before we left last night, the nurse came in and took her temp and woke her up, so I got one eyes open picture. The name is still not decided yet. It sounds like it is most likely going to be Maria Katherine.

She's here!!!!

We don't know the name yet, but Ryan and Mary's baby girl is here. She was born shortly before 12 noon today. She weighed in at 9lbs 2 oz, 21 inches long.

Her momma was really happy it was finally over with.

And Dad was too.

Hopefully I will get some better pics when I go back tonight. Maybe of Mom and dad too.

Happy Halloween a bit early....

Mom and Liss got Jades pictures done in her new Halloween costume.

Just wanted to share. :-)

The little Sams family...

Here is a pic of I got of Melissa, Nick and Jade. Nick looks thrilled to be having his picture taken. When I take his pic, I tease him so much he has to smile and then I snap it. ;-)

Hopefully after this weekend I can post pics of my new niece that has yet to be born or named. ;-) Her mommy and daddy are getting pretty anxious that she get here soon--especially her mommy.

Kaelah

I decided to snap a few pictures of Kaelah while we were waiting for the bus. School is so exciting for her. As soon as she wakes up in the morning, she starts asking, "How long til time for school?" I have to keep her busy, busy, busy, so I don't have to answer that question all day.

She goes to a Catholic school, but kindergartners don't have to wear uniforms. She isn't allowed to wear flip flops or anything with open toes or heels, so it has been interesting trying to match some summer outfits regular shoes.

I just wanted to share a few pics of my little girl. Honestly, she brings me the most happiness every day. I know that sounds dramatic, but she really does. She is so full of love and happiness. Don't get me wrong, there are moments when I would like to crown her (as my mom used to say...and probably still does), but all in all she is so fun.

Cute baby....

This is the newest baby that I take care of. He has two older brothers and one older sister. I watch them on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. These kids are the best babies. I have babysat them since the oldest was 9 months old and they have such good personalities. They are lots of fun. This little guy, Timmy, is just two weeks younger than my niece, Jade. So it is nice to take care of him and compare him to Jade. I took this pic of him the Saturday and just thought it was so cute, I had to share.

Labor Day....

We went to the annual Labor Day fireworks this weekend. This was the first time that Kyle has gone. Outside of the serial smokers in front of us, it was a good time.

This is our co-ed volleyball team minus my sister Erin. She was taking the picture. There was one with her as well, but it didn't turn out very well. I've gotta admit that this one isn't the best either of my dear friends. :-) But I decided to share it anyway.

Good times, good company.
